Christmas Cookie Baking: Earl Grey Shortbread
I'm going for variety with my cookie baking. For my sixth cookie, I went with shortbread flavored with my favorite tea--Earl Grey, and a bit of orange zest.
Very simple to make. Form the dough into a log, freeze for an hour to firm it up, then slice and bake. So easy. The end result is a crispy, buttery cookie.
For this batch, I used this recipe from Martha Stewart.
