Simple Fall Coffee
It's been a little while since I've hosted the Tuesday coffee group. It finally worked out for Jonathan and I to have it again. I snapped just a couple pictures before we chowed down. It might not necessarily look like it, but I kept it relatively simple this time.
Ginger snaps I'd made the night before, plus leek, asaparagus, and goat cheese quiche. An example of simplification: I took a shortcut and used a purchased frozen pie crust. It saved me a lot of energy. It's not something I like to do all the time, but I'd just been at Whole Foods and they had vegetarian crusts so I couldn't pass that up (not something you probably think about much, but the brands at my regular store contain lard).
Pumpkin bread pudding! Made with local pumpkin from Botna Burrow! One of the easiest things ever. The final item was the lovely clementines pictured in the bowl in the top picture. Clementines are such a treat!
